I have decided to complete this page because I have been contacted by a descendant. Her original email to me follows:

I have learned more about my Walker family from your web site than I have learned in my twenty years of research. Do you have any more pictures? I only saw two of the W. A. Walker family. I'm sure there are probably more and I just don't know how to navigate to the sites. Your cousin, Linda Myers Nabors

My reply: From: Lannie Walker Date: 2006/03/12 Sun PM 03:36:20 EST To: lindanabors@bellsouth.net Subject: Re: walker Linda, I have now fixed my guestbook and my counter so feel free to sign now. Can you tell me how you are descended from Nancy Jane. My father and some of his brothers used to go to Mississippi every few years to "visit the Breazeale cousins". I never went with them however. I am having trouble remembering just what pictures that I might have that are not already on my site. I will keep checkin though. I once visited two of my father's cousins in Longview Texas and spent the day videotaping them. They were two elderly retired and widowed school teachers living together. Recently I digitized the Video tape to my computer, made a menu and created chapters by the subject being discusse in my visit. These ladies were alive while Martha Jane, Nancy Jane's mother, was still living. lthough they were small. If you have a DVD player I would be happy to make you a copy of it and mail it to you. I believe that I made the tape around 1985. I wasn't the most prepared or skillful interviewer but it was fairly interesting. I belive that on that tape I also included a letter written to Vesse Walker, a brother to Jessie Walker Kelley and Ann Walker Cullins and the son of Samuel Organ Walker, a brother to Nancy Jane and to my grandfather Wm A. Walker. The letter was from W.M. Breazeale and written in 1925. I think that you would enjoy reading the letter. By the way, I am a member of the Walker DNA group and there are currently 16 members that closely match me but we haven't found the name of our common ancestor yet. The neat thing about it is that if we should find him, literally thousands of these 16 Walker family members would immediately have their "brick wall" torn down. If I should ever get past Samuel, hundreds of his descndants would have their ancestry lengthened due to the testing of just one persons DNA.......mine. That would really be exciting for all of us. The thing that, if it happens, will be the DNA of a new member who has the documentation that will gives us that elusive father of our Samuel. If it ever happens, the only ones that will know about it will be those who periodically check the DNA page on my web site. W.M. Breazeale, in his letter to Vesse Walker, told him that he was having much difficulty with the Breazeale family tree. Has any of Nancy Jane's progeny made any headway in finding your Breazeale ancestor? Let me know if you would like a copy of the Video. Lannie

Linda's reply to my email above: I would love a copy of the DVD. My address is: Linda Nabors 1160 South Beauchamp Apartmant A-26 Greenville, MS 38703 I descend from Martha, a child of Sampson and Nancy Jane Walker Breazeale. From Martha Breazeale Kelley to daughter Zettie Kelley, who married Sam Myers, my grandfather. I have a very poor copy of a copy of a copy and so on...of James Pinkney Breazeale. He appears to be an old man. I was told that it is a picture of him in his Civil War uniform. I would love to be able to get a better copy of it. Do you know of any one who might have one? If you don't have one, I can send you a copy of it if you want. I sm so excited to have found your site. My computer crashed in September of last year and I lost so many of my files. I constantly back up my Famiy Tree files, but somehow I still lost a tremendous amount of information. It has taken me hours and hours retyping information from your site into my files. No fun!!!!! I am interested in the DNA project. I have just read bits and pieces. Please tell me more. Linda
